Two New Features to Support an Even Better Experience for Your Instructors
Course Section Evaluation: New Direct Access for Students
Your instructors can now provide a unique evaluation link to enrolled students for direct access to a course section's evaluation, which offers more options when administering course evaluations.
Instructors' use of the direct access link can be combined with email reminders that you, as the administrator, send to students with evaluations available for completion.
The direct access link will be available to instructors once an administration has opened. Only students enrolled in the course section will be authentication into the evaluation, bypassing the landing page. When the evaluation is completed, the student can simply click the return to course list button, where any other available evaluations will be listed.
Course Learning Objectives: An Easier Way to Compare Past and Current Selections
When this feature releases in the coming weeks, all objective selections are now organized into one page for easier reference. Instructors can select and compare past selections when completing objectives for active course sections.
The existing Course Learning Objectives (CLOs) rules still apply:
- If an administrator autofills and locks CLOs, instructors will not be able to change objectives for associated course section(S)
- If an administrator autofills CLOs (but doesn't lock them), instructors will only be able to promote objectives for associated course section(s)
The existing Objective Selection Form (OSF) will remain in place throughout the Spring term as instructors get used to the new way to complete learning objectives.
