Permission Categories

Before granting permissions, you can find details about each permission item.

Accounts	User Enrollments	Unrestricted Controls user access to view student/instructor enrollments per user
Accounts	User Permissions	Unrestricted Controls user access to manage permissions for the application per user
Courses	Organizational Units	Unrestricted Controls user access to manage the Organization Unit Tree and assign levels to the organizational units
	Courses	Unrestricted Controls user access to view full list of courses
	Sections	Ability to limit access by Organizational Unit Controls user access to view list of sections and view or edit the section details including creating new sections, assigning attributes, and adjusting student/instructor enrollment per section
	Section Attributes	Unrestricted Controls user access to view the full list of available Course Section Attributes

Setup	Evaluations	Ability to limit access to Organizational Unit Questions by Organizational Unit Controls user access to Core and Custom (Organizational Unit, Attribute Questions) questions on evaluations
	Faculty Questions	Unrestricted Controls access for a faculty member to add their own custom question to an evaluation (Administration must also allow faculty added questions)
	Administrations	Ability to limit access by Organizational Unit Controls user access to create and edit Administrations
	Course Learning Objectives	Ability to limit access by Organizational Unit Controls user access to autofill or lock learning objectives for all sections of a course per course (IDEA institutions only)
Communication	Mailing Center	Ability to limit access by Organizational Unit Controls user access to campaigns and templates within the Mailing Center

Monitoring	Response Rates	Ability to limit access by Organizational Unit Controls user access to Response Rate Report
Results	Faculty Reports	Ability to limit access by Organizational Unit Controls user access to Faculty Reports, the highest level of access includes access to reports before the scheduled release date and to the Raw Data Export (raw data export is not limited by Org Unit and contains data from the whole institution).
	Custom Report Builder	Unrestricted Controls user access to Custom Report Builder
	Unit Summary Report	Ability to limit access by Organizational Unit Controls user access to Unit Summary Report (IDEA institutions only)
	Question Mean Analysis	Ability to limit access by Organizational Unit Controls user access to Question Mean Analysis, the highest level of access includes access to reports before the scheduled release date
