The Institutional Unit Chart serves two purposes:

  1. It works as a folder system to store your course sections.
  2. It allows you to offer access to report administrators to see results for a particular group of courses (which are housed in the units).

 It is comprised of an abundance of institutional units, which are also referred to as organizational units. These are used to identify areas within the University/College for question assignment and reporting access. Example: College of Arts and Sciences > Accounting
